Operations Development Programme Career start for management talents

Do you have an engineering or technical background and want to take your career to the next level? Then the international development programme at the European market leader for sanitary products is the right first step. We are looking for management talent with your background to master our future challenges. Gain valuable knowledge of an efficient, lean and process-oriented organisation and be actively involved from day one.

Participate in projects

  • You will start the programme at an established Geberit location in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Poland, Sweden or Finland. In the first onboarding phase, you will get to know our corporate culture, our processes and our systems. For example, you will be introduced to our Geberit production system, which is based on lean principles. And you will soon have the opportunity to lead your first project.
  • In a second phase, you will lead another strategic project at another production site or in a logistics centre. You will apply the expertise you have built up in the first phase directly and thus support the further development of the relevant site. Thanks to the close support of a senior management member, you will build up a valuable network at Geberit and be able to develop both professionally and personally.
  • The third and most desirable stage of the programme is to take up a management position in one of our international plants, ideally in your home country.

Training: on-the-job and off-the-job

Employee development and personal growth are important to Geberit. All programme participants therefore go through the regular performance management process, in which continuous feedback and development discussions take place. In addition, we offer off-the-job training tailored to individual needs and internal talent programmes for selected employees.

Application and schedule

In addition to your mobility, the right attitude and personality are important prerequisites for admission to the programme.

The application period for the Operations Development Programme starts every spring. After local pre-selection, the selected candidates are invited to an assessment centre. The programme starts in the autumn.

Sales Development Programme Career start in sales management

Would you like to prove your skills in leading strategic sales projects and build your career step by step with your convincing personality? Are you from Germany or Sweden? It the answers are yes, the Sales Development Programme at the European market leader for sanitary products is the right place for you to grow with us.

International development programme for graduates

To master our future challenges, we are looking for management talent for our sales locations in Germany and Sweden with an economic and technical background. In addition to a solid basic education, a strong interest in sales and marketing topics are important prerequisites for successful completion of the program. Just as important as your professional background is your personality and your willingness to proactively push drive issues forward.

Take an active part

  • You will start the programme at your sales location in Germany or Sweden, where you will experience all areas of sales during an intensive induction period. Another important aspect of the initial onboarding phase is to familiarise you with our corporate culture and processes, and in particular with our three-tier sales system.
  • In the second phase, you will gain an insight into the area of Business Sales Development to learn about sales topics from a corporate perspective. You will then spend a longer period of time (1 – 1.5 years) at another of our global sales locations, where you will gain an in-depth insights into international sales and proactively drive projects forward. You will apply the knowledge you have built up in the first phase directly to support the further development of the corresponding location.
  • Thanks to the close support of our senior management team, you will build up a valuable network at Geberit and will be able to develop both professionally and personally.
  • The aim of the programme is to take on a management position in one of our sales locations, ideally in your home country of Germany or Sweden.

Fostering employees and their personal development is important to Geberit. All programme participants therefore join the regular performance management process, in which continuous feedback and development discussions take place. In addition, we offer training courses and other development measures tailored to your individual needs to promote and strengthen your personal development in a targeted manner.

Application and schedule

In addition to the right attitude and a committed and enthusiastic personality, your mobility is an important prerequisite for being accepted into the programme.

The application process for the Sales Development Program 2024 will start in spring 2024. After the local pre-selection, the selected persons will be invited to an assessment centre in Switzerland. The program will start in autumn 2024 in Germany and Sweden.
